Four-Legged Fun: Pet-friendly Attractions in Warren County

It’s the travel dilemma every pet lover dreads: what do you do with Fido during family vacation? He’s scared of the vet, the kids next door can’t be counted on, and–to be perfectly honest–you’re just going to miss the heck out of the little guy while you’re away.

Fortunately, pet care doesn’t have to be a problem in Ohio’s Largest Playground. Home to numerous pet-friendly attractions and accommodations, Warren County is happy to host your furry friends! Here are just a few of your best bets for pets:

Adorable Black PupKings Island & The Beach
Two of Warren County’s most popular human attractions, Kings Island and The Beach water park also cater to four-legged visitors. Park goers can leave their pets with trained caretakers at Kings Island’s Pet Care Center throughout the season (fee), or bring them in on special occasions. Open in 2014, Kings Island’s Dog Days invite owners and their canine companions to Snoopy’s Halloween Party, a seasonal celebration held at the park’s accompanying water park, Soak City.

The final day of the Beach water park’s season also offers a Dog Day celebration, which lets owners bring their dogging-paddling pals for a dip in the park’s wave pool.
