I’m going to be honest. I have a huge sweet tooth. I love candy and other sweets, and will never hesitate to try any type of chocolaty, nutty, marshmallow anything. Luckily, Ohio’s Largest Playground meets my every need when it comes to candy cravings. If you’ve got a sweet tooth like I do, go get your fix at one of these Warren County favorites.
Golden Turtle Chocolate Factory
Located in Historic Downtown Lebanon, the Golden Turtle Chocolate Factory prepares premium chocolates on a daily basis. Signature creations include the Texas Tortoise, creams, almond toffees, nut clusters, peanut butter buckeyes, truffles, and many more! They even ship their chocolates throughout the continental United States. It’s a chocolate lover’s dream!
Braden Sweet Shoppe
Braden Sweet Shoppe is housed in an historic building in downtown Waynesville that dates back to the 1820s. This family-owned feast of sweets specializes in fudge which is made on-site! Chocolate mint, buckeye, espresso? Too many flavors to count. Count me in!
Main Street Sweets & Popcorn
This homey little shop in downtown Mason creates a warm feeling right when you enter – exactly what I’m looking for when I need a sugar fix! The smell of homemade sweets fills the air, and makes it nearly impossible to leave without picking up a tin of their trademark flavored popcorn or another confectionery creation!
Friesinger’s Fine Chocolates
Friesinger’s Fine Chocolates has been around since 1894, and makes its chocolate the “old-fashioned way.” Visitors to the Springboro shop can even see the chocolate being made, which definitely makes it hard to resist! Friesinger’s also sells a variety of other candies and nuts, which makes it the perfect stop to satisfy any sweet ‘n’ salty craving!
